Onmyradio is a for radio enthusiasts; it’s about good talk radio I find on the dial, podcasts I find on the web, and radio shows I already know and love. I want to add detail and depth to the bland listings so often provided for most radio stations in newspapers and online, and to discover output no-one even mentions. So although I do aim to cover output from stations like Radio 4, I’m beginning by focusing mainly on stations and programmes less well described and promoted.
I’m reviewing talk radio – but only radio I like and want to tell everyone about; I’m not interested in giving anyone a bad name – after all, I work in the radio industry, for the BBC, and there are things it’s best not to do on your doorstep. There is so much radio out there, in the ether and on the internet; if it can be picked up in the UK and it’s any good, I’m interested and I hope you will be too.
I welcome comments and suggestions for future posts. Please keep comments positive and non-personal; I’m keen on free debate, less so on just slagging people off.
